Counselor: Jessica Gleason

A Little About Me...

Hi, I'm Miss Jessica! I began working at PACE in the 17-18 school year as a Kindergarten aide. I briefly left to complete my education and returned as the school counselor in 2019. I grew up in Redding and am the oldest of four siblings. I live with my 9 year old daughter, and have a kitty named Louise. I enjoy spending time with my sister, being outdoors, and playing games with my daughter.

My Education...

I completed my education locally at Shasta College and SImpson University. In 2015, I graduated from Shasta with a dual A.S. in Family Studies and Language Arts. In 2017, I completed my B.A. in Psychology through Simpson and then graduated again in 2019 with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. I continue to seek out training and education that supports my work with students.

My Role with Students...

I aim to support PACE staff and students in all ways! My role with students includes: social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, learning and implementing coping skills, short-term individual counseling, small groups, academic support, behavior intervention, and crisis response. Additionally, students are able to "check-in" with me to discuss any issues that are important to them.
